III. There are many possible solutions to this problem. The possible solutions are: (Two articles must be attached and annotated bibliography)
Some possible solutions for controlling illegal immigration are to give state law enforcment officals the right to question suspected illegal immigrants and if found to be illegal they are turned over to the federal government. One other possible solution for controlling illegal immigration would be to form a new government agency to crack down on illegal immigrants. One more option for controlling illegal immigrants would be to beef up boarder control and do a clean sweep of the country in order to weed out the illegal immigrants already here.
IV. The solution I (we) propose is: (This section will become your proposed legislation. Be sure to include what agency will implement your law, proposed cost if any and effective date)
The solution we propose is to allow all state law enforcment officals the right to question suspected illegal immigrants. If the suspected illegals turn out to be illegal immigrants the state law enforcment officals would turn the illegals over to the federal government to be deported. Each states individual law enforcement programs will impliment the law. The federal government would take care of the deporting in order to insure that regulations are withheld. Proving citizen ship is a rather easy and takes little time as all one needs is a birth certificate or a social security number. The only cost that would be involved with the law is the training of the law enforcement officals so that they could properly question suspected illegal immigrants. This law would be put into effect starting January 1, 2012.
V. I (we) think this solution will work because: (You must use factual information to prove your solution will work)
We beleive that this solution will work because of its relative low cost and its ability to go right into every city in the U.S. and allow their law enforcement officals to get right to the point. Rather than having the illegal immigrants have to be charged of a crime in order to be questioned of their citizenship this law allows the government officals to directly quedtion any suspected illegal in order to protect our country.
